They Don't Have A Clue

This is a quote from the OS Diary:

BB warns HMs that some Housemates are trying to sway votes, and influence others. BB says it must stop from tonight.

Why would Big Brother try to stop people "playing the game". They all seem to be playing within the rules, they should be able to influence anyone they want as long as they don't discuss nominations directly.

Do the producers of the show have any idea what makes interesting TV?
